Love to Sing?

The Choralairs Choir is made from a diverse group of people who love bringing music to the community. Sounds fun?  It is!

We don't require choir experience, as long as you are able to practice regularly and come to Tuesday night rehearsals.  All singers are welcome to contact us about joining in September.

Our
Story

Rich with History

Welcome to the Choralairs

For more than 60 years, the Choralairs have brought music, friendship, and a sense of community to audiences across Toronto and North York.

Founded in 1963, our choir welcomes adults who simply enjoy singing and sharing music with others. Some members have years of musical experience, while others are rediscovering a love of singing that began in school, at church, or around the family piano.

Our repertoire includes Broadway favourites, well-known popular songs from the 1940s through the 1980s, folk music, seasonal selections, and other familiar melodies that audiences love to hear.

Each year, we present a series of one-hour concerts for residents of long-term care homes, retirement communities, and seniors' centres throughout Toronto. Our performances bring enjoyment, memories, and companionship to people who may not have many opportunities to experience live music.

The Choralairs rehearse every Tuesday evening from September through early June at the Edithvale Community Centre in North York.

If you enjoy singing, would like to meet new friends, and want to make a meaningful contribution to the community, we would love to welcome you.

Come and sing with us.
